If you enjoy baking, hosting tea parties, or bringing people together over tea and cake, this is your chance to make a real difference to children’s lives. By getting involved, you’ll be supporting Schoolreaders, a National charity that provides free reading support to primary school children who need it most.

Why your support matters:
Every year, one in four children leave primary school unable to read to the expected standard. This will set them back, not only in their secondary education, but in the rest of their learning beyond. Schoolreaders matches volunteers with schools to provide vital one-to-one reading sessions that improve literacy, boost confidence, and help to improve children's future life oppurtunities.
